Please do not report problems with a custom build or custom code in this forum. If you are producing your own build from the source code and have problems or questions, ask in the developer forum, do not report it as a bug.
When posting in this forum, please try to provide as many relevant details as possible. Particularly the following:
I want a blog to show only custom content in the side bar, without the calendars, feeds etc. But it will not show show up unless I switch on something else like calendar or archives.
Not sure this is a bug, because it is called "Extra side bar content", but I certainly think it wold be nice to display only this content if so configured.
thanks
Hi,
What version of mojoPortal are you running?
I can't reproduce this problem on the demo site. If you look at the blog on the demo site, you'll see that I've created top and bottom sidebar content, and hid the other stuff.
HTH,Joe D.
Hi Joe
Agreed - it works fine on demo. I wonder if it is the skin? I'll upload my skin to the demo site and check. (Later: seems I cannot upload a skin?).
I'm running:
mojoPortal Version 2.3.7.9 MSSQL
Operating System Microsoft Windows NT 6.0.6002 Service Pack 2
ASP.NET Info v4.0.30319 Running in Full Trust
Uploading skins is disabled on the demo site for security reasons.
Send me your skin and I'll test it out.

Thanks,Joe D.
Joe D has confirmed this is a bug - switching off "Show Add Feed Links?" on the demo site made the top and bottom side bar content disappear.
I've logged a to do item in the project tracker for this. I should be ale to fix it for the next release.
Best,
Joe
