Error Creating Control - MPContainer

Why do all the webforms show "Error Creating Control - MPContainer"?

MasterPages doesn't work in the designer view, only in the Html view. The current MasterPages implementation by Paul Wilson  is very similar to the new MasterPages feature of ASP.NET 2.0 which will make it very easy to switch to the real MasterPages when 2.0 is released. At that time VS.NET 2005 will suport MasterPages in designer view.  Personally, this has never bothered me because I prefer to work in Html view but for those who like to use the desinger it will be supported in the future.  VS.NET 2003 always tries to open a page in designer view and this makes it display the error.

This is now fixed, see the related thread in the Installation Help forum if you are interested in what the problem was. This forum is really where it should have been posted since its really about working with the solution and not installation
