Nivo Slider problem

Nivo Slider problem

Hi,

I've upgraded to version 2.3.7.9 on asp.net 4.0. Are also working on upgrading my skins to Artisteere 3.1.

I have a skin based on Artistere3.1-verticalmenu2. In the header I have the Nivo Slider (only the div art-header and the nivo-control from Rick Hubka). Works perfect. BUT when I am to change the content, the nivo slider shows also on the htmlEdit-page. Unfortunately above the editor, so it's not possible to let it be.

What can I do?

Hi Anette

I have been away and busy for a few months. My mojoPortal is 2.3.6.7 and the current stable mojoPortal release is 2.3.7.6. My Artisteer is still 3.0 while mojoPortal has upped to Artisteer 3.1. Even NivoSlider has upped a version. Geeze... If you fall asleep for 3 months you are totally outdated. he he.

You say you are on V 2.3.7.9. That's not even out yet officially.

This weekend Sunday I'm going to upgrade "everything" and publish an alternate newer version of NivoSlider for mojoPortal. Sorry, I just don't have the time till then.

Hope this helps. You could take the slider off till then???

Hi Rick

I know, you can never be at ease. This weekend is fine for me, just sorry for you to have to work on a Sunday.

(I have upgraded continuously via Tortoise, perhaps it's a better idea to wait until the release of the stable versions?)

I see... a Tortoise user. Cool. I do that sometimes too.

Can you email me your Artisteer 3.1 artx file? I'll use it with some others for testing. It's always great to have an example of where it does NOT work in your testing pool.

Hi Anette

I'm glad you got Nivo up and running.

On Sunday I upgraded all my stuff for Nivo and ran into a problem. The Artisteer 3.1 skin background does not display (disappears) for half of the 8 skins I tried. Then we had a wind storm on the island and the power was out for 5 hours.

I will be away from home and will not be able to get back at this for about 10 days now.

It will get done!

Thanks for Nivo - its going to be great if I can figure out how to get my background to display.

Any chance you have had time to work on the fix for the background issue with Artisteer 3.1?
