inheritInChildApplications in version 2.3.7.7

Hi All,

I just updated my test server to version 2.3.7.7 and I started getting this error again:

Parser Error Message: InheritInChildApplications cannot be set to "false" if the location path is referring to machine.config or the root web.config.

Line 746: <location path="." inheritInChildApplications="false">
Line 747:     <system.web>

I have run across several articles discussing the use of the "location" element to prevent inheriting all the settings to child applications in IIS and I've been using this successfully for a couple of years now. I tried just dropping the web.config file from the 2.3.7.5 installation I had previously to see if it might have been just another small config change that might be causing the problem, but I get the same error with the old web.config file. So I have no idea what change could have instigated this new error. Any suggestions?

I think I just finally found what happened here:

That was it. If anyone else is using 51Degrees and pulling your hair out, I sure hope you run across this one.
