Custom Profile Config Documentation

I was successful in creating a mojoProfileCustom.config and added another drop menu in the profile called BizCategory.

Is there any documentation showing how to display,search or filter profile data on the site to non logged in users??

any help is appreciated - just looking for a little direction.

We don't currently have anything to search by custom profile properties. You can control what is displayed to anonymous users on the profilevew.aspx page assuming you are allowing unauthenticated users to view the member list then they can also view the user profile.

As documented there is a visibleToAnonymous setting for custom properties.

Thanks Joe, I was hoping to find some examples on how to work with the membership system code because I would like to develop a feature that allows the display of members similar to the profileview.aspx. 

My ultimate goal would be a custom membership database for a small club or organization and I was unsure if I should use the built in membership system of have a different member database and display it on the page in an iframe.

I think I did see something in the road map about a membership system with paid areas so maybe that is up and coming.
