Cannot override URL base (necessary for proxying)

I have a client running Mojoportal on port 8080 and have a proxy server mapping requests on port 80 to port 8080.  Unfortunately, Mojoportal appears to be using the HTTP Host variable for links and we are finding that although visitors have no problem reaching the pages via port 80, all links are directing them to the :8080 addresses.

If there is a fix this with changing the code, I haven't found it.

Thank you,

Eric Windisch

Re: Cannot override URL base (necessary for proxying)

If you're working with the code I think you will find what you need to change in SiteUtils.GetSiteRoot() in SiteUtils.cs in the Components folder under the web.  I do have it set to handle running under different ports I just didn't think about a proxy setup like you are describing. I guess I could make a web.config setting to set to true if using a proxy and then modify the code in SiteUtils.GetSiteRoot() to not map the port if using a proxy. Thats a small change that I can probably get into my next release targeted for this sunday evening.
