suggestion for blog feature improvement

suggestion for blog feature improvement

hi Joe.

I've cloned the blog feature and have experienced some problems when using it as a news feature.

as you have mentioned in the sitemap, it's going to be usable as a news feature.

so I thought it's also useful to consider that the archiving method of blog is not suitable for a news feature.

for news feature, one will need to let the user select from "date" to "date" instead of per month, and also let him select number of items returned. also maybe the user wants to see the archive of all posts, not posts of a single module.

don't know whether these are of any help to you or not, if it is, tell me, so I will share my experience.
