Re: display edit button for my custom feature

Ali,

How far have you gotten in creating your custom feature? Have you created an edit interface for it, for the edit icon to be linked to?

Re: display edit button for my custom feature

hi,

I found it, I think I need these attributes (EditText,EditUrl) in this mojo control

<portal:ModuleTitleControl EditText="Edit" EditUrl="~/MyeModuleEdit.aspx" runat="server" id="Title1" />

Re: display edit button for my custom feature

Yes, you are on the right track.

I suggest also if you ever wonder how to do something, the mojoPortal source code is the ideal resource, you can study the code for existing features to see how we do things.

For this question I also recommend these training videos

Building a Guestbook Series

Videos 22 through 27 cover implementation of supporting pages.

Hope that helps,

Joe

Re: display edit button for my custom feature

Hi Ali,

The only other thing I would mention is that some things you will see in the videos are outdated. Mainly I think the new Container Elements we use in features is new since those videos were made, so it is always good to look at the latest code for existing features as well as the videos. Most other content and concepts in the videos should still be correct.

Best,

Joe
