Not a huge thing, but it would be helpful. Add a module setting (checkbox) to allow users to "hide" a module; perhaps a small icon in the upper right of a module header that says "Hide This", with a cookie setting so that it's not visible the next time they visit the site.  Perhaps even make it rights/roles accessible, so that members of a certain role can hide non-relevant content.
