Hi,
what would be the most recommended way to customize the contact form ?
i need to make design changes:
split the page into 2,place an image to the left of the form (therefore making the form 50% of the current page width and use the other 50 % for the image)
i have knowledge in css, i just need to understand what css files i need to tweek.
im using the "styleshout-citrusisland" skin for my site.

You could put the image in the left or center column and put the contact form in the right side column and then make the right side column as wide as you need it to be. See How To Make A Side Column Wider on Some Pages.
