I had never heard of it, it looks like a popular and mature php project. I have no time to play with it for further comparison, there are many cms projects and when I get time I look at them for ideas but mainly I am operating in the .NET ecosystem I don't have time to compare my project with all the ones out there.

Many projects out there may be more feature rich or come with prettier skins and people choose as they will. I cannot worry about that.

I do projects with mojoPortal and I keep trying to improve mojoPortal and I am happy with the way the project is progressing.
