Hi All
I could not find a solution for converting a current skin to RTL
I was looking for the main HTML or BODY tags do it bueof (alll ) with no sucsses
Even the solutions that I found where full skins or not relevant to the current version.
This CMS looks perfect for my needs (I'm a silverlight programmes and did some ASPX in the past) but the RTL is a big big problem.
Any ideas on this issue ?
Hi,
I convert a lot of build in skins to right to left and you can download those from mojoPortal Persian Community.
Hope Helps,
Asad
Dir Asad
I have seen your work and was planning to look into it later today.
I understand that changing to RTL is not as simple as changing in the top level... :-( I was hoping that a general sulution will enable me to change a current style from the beutifull ones available on the net to RTL....
Nevermind :-)
I have one more question in this issue - how do I implement (add) a new skin into my MojoPortal site ? do I need to just copy it to the Skins directory and it will appear on the list on my Admin ?
If you will be able to clear this I will be very thankfull :-)
In any case I admire your comntribution to this comunity (As I've seen you are involved in the last few years)
many Thx
Hai
hi my friend
converting ltr skins to rtl is not too hard but if you want to do a professional job, you have to take time.
you must check all blocks and html code completely.
the hardest section is making RTL sub menu but with superfish menu type you can make easily RTL menu & sub menus.
Also check ASAD's documentation. he is the administrator of Farsi section and very skillful in MOJO.
& finally, I had opened a thread about more customizing MOJO and Joe (the administrator of MOJO) told me that he want to set some new modifications in skinning issues for next updates.
Adding a new skin is finding nearest existing skin to your taste, copying it to Data/Sites/[1]/Skins folder with defferent name, so it appeares in the Site Settings menu .Select it for your site and start your modifications. FireBug ( a FireFox Add On) is very usefull to expose css classes. In some of RTL skins in mojoPortal Pesrian Community you can find a stylertl.css files that contains right to left midifications again existing skins.
Thank you friends for these advices
I hope that one of the next versions of MojoPortal will have an RTL site option. It will be great for Hebrew, Arabic, Farsi etc.
It already works with rtl if you use skins designed for rtl. So I don't know what change you are hoping for.

Hi Asad Samarian,
I download some rtl skins that you have said about but some of them didn't work good for me,
I just copied them to my site's skin folder,
could you please help me? , Where did i the wrong operation?
thanks
Dear Ashian
Could you please send me the mentioned file? my email is abbas.shojaee@gmail.com
Thank you in advanced
I sent it, but note that if you use Artisteer 3.1, you dont need this file.
Just use RTL setting of artisteer, you just need some changes about mojoportal css .
