Google doesnt pick up /default.aspx but Bing does

Google doesnt pick up /default.aspx but Bing does

Im perplexed.. We have made sure that the settings are correct for the homepage which is:

xyz.com

xyz.com/home

wyz.com/default

And from what we have gathered /home and /default are the same and google and bing shouldnt be seeing them.

The search engines should only be seeing xyz.com

Can anyone give me any advice in why this is happening?

Thanks joe, We did go through the correct process according to your guides but bing.com is still picking up www.xyz.com/default.aspx

This is our settings:

Page Name: Home

Page Title Override: this is out homepage

url: -/home.aspx

 

Cononical Settings:

Rel: Cononical

Href: http://www.xyz.com

Href Lang: blank

 

Are these correct?
