A friend of mine rewrote my website on mojoPortal because I am technology challenged and he felt I could manage my site with this software.  He set it up, gave me the password, etc and I did do some minor stuff on the site.  But I put off doing anything major until I had more time to do it....  like today.

The trouble is, I cannot find where I wrote all the log in info down.  So I tried to use the password recovery system on here.  It doesn't recognize my email and it's possible that when this was set up, we were still using a "now defunct email address. So I can't go that route.  What do you do when you find yourself locked out of your website?   How does one go in and reset ID and password when you cannot find a way to log on or recover the old info?

Any help would be appreciated....

Thanks for the reply.  You are correct that I have no idea how to enter the data base.  Can one do that without logging in?  I know that my friend will help me when he can.  He is actually the friend of our son-in-law and has been extremely good to me, considering how busy he is.  I would love to take care of this myself and not pester him, if possible.   We learn by making mistakes so this might be a good lesson for me.  How do you enter the data base?

I registered here yesterday just so I could read other posts and post a question of my own.   I am certainly willing to try to fix my own problem if I can get some directions.  I follow directions well. (grin)
