Problem with access to modules using latest mojoPortal install

Hi all

Since we started installing mojoPortal's latest version on our medium trust servers, we're having trouble with a very weird issue.

We're using a ModuleWrapper in our skin to work on footer content - works fine in that it shows on the page, shows the control links and we can access / edit settings.

See image: http://d.pr/AgYI

However, when we try and edit content for this module - we get the "no access" message, see image: http://d.pr/qy3I

We've followed the exact same install procedure as we have since we started using mojoPortal and never had this trouble. Additionally I've made sure access is correct:

Access to module: http://d.pr/kkct

Access roles of my user: http://d.pr/Xgxi

We thought this was a one off problem but it's happened on all of our most recent installs this week, 3 of. We can edit any other content but not the new content modules that we add and then access via the content modules used within a module wrapper.

Additionally, if I add the module to the right (or any) column of a page without using the module wrapper, just the publish icons, we can edit it:

http://d.pr/oLfV

It's just when it's in a module wrapper that the problem occurs.

As I say, it's happening on a fair few installs we've done and I wondered if anyone had any ideas?

Thanks

Mark

Re: Problem with access to modules using latest mojoPortal install

Hi Mark,

This bug has been reported previously and is already fixed in our source code repository so it will be fixed in the coming release. In the mean time a workaround is to add the content to a private page and edit it from there so it has a context of the page edit roles.

Best,

Joe
