Copying a "Links" file from machine to machine?

Copying a "Links" file from machine to machine?

Hi,

I have a couple of similar sites and would like to share, or copy, from one site to the other the "Links" file (not using database)?

Can I just copy the file over?  (I see possible issues with the naming of the file...)

OR

Can I share the file between web sites on the same server?  (separate installs)

OR

What is the best method?

I know I can Cut & Paste the data from one file to the other???   But that is messy?!?!?
