Fresh install .net 4 and mysql problem

Hello,

I am brand new to mojoportal and trying to install it on my host.

I'm using .NET 4, MySQL (not sure about the version) and mojoportal-2-3-5-8-b-mssql-net40-deploymentfiles.zip modified with mojoportal-2-3-5-8-mysqldatalayer-GPL.zip

Note: This page shows some information that is helpful during setup and upgrades but for security it would be best not to show any information when the system is up to date. You can disable setup and suppress all information on this page by setting DisableSetup=true in Web.config. When you need to upgrade, you can set this back to false. If you are logged in as Administrator setup will run and you will be able to see this page even if it is disabled in Web.config so you can easily leave it disabled and just login before upgrading. But if you are not logged in you will need to enable setup in Web.config.

When I access it again, It gives me this message:

I've read some topics regarding this "database core schema needs upgrade" but so far I'm really clueless on what might be the problem. Anyone can give me a hand?

Hi,

If you posted the entire contents of the Setup page, it didn't finish properly because there should be a lot more than that. It should list the installation of all the features and because it doesn't, it make me think some of the files didn't get uploaded.You should make sure that all of your files were uploaded properly to the site. We recommend using a robust FTP program like FileZilla because it shows you which files made it to the server and which ones didn't.

Hi,

This does mean all the files were not uploaded. Specifically you are missing files from the folder /Setup/applications/mojoportal-core/SchemaUpgradeScripts/mysql

you are missing 2.3.5.6.config, 2.3.5.7.config, and 2.3.5.8.config

these files are included in the MySql data layer package. The worrisome part is if those files did not get uploaded maybe other files did not get uploaded, it might be wise to upload all the files again.
