Hi Joe and others. What if one wants to create a redirect to another site from the blog post?
I'd like to link to my article elsewhere from my blog. I'd like to fill only the Title and excerpt, no content and then set the URL pointing elsewhere like I'm used to point from menu to pages inside my mojoportal. However with blog articles this is not possible and mojoportal forces me to link just inside the blog (the URL has to have ~/). Is there any way to link anywhere else? The desired behavior is the user clicking the blog article title and being redirected.
sorry but the blog was not designed for that. You might be able to create a 301 redirect in the 301 redirect manager but I'm not sure if it allows redirecting to external urls, it will definitely work for redirecting within the site.
Best,
Joe
The 301 redir was my second choice, however this one only supports redirects inside the domain. Please, Joe, would it be possible to redirect from the blog? I guess it wouldn't be much of a change to allow typing complete URL's into the nice URL form. Thank you.
