Contact Form - can't paste?

Hey everyone, as the title says, we are not able to paste any text into our contact forms with either Firefox or IE, and I can't find anything about this in the forum. Unfortunately I can't try this on the demo site since someone has changed the password. no

Re: Contact Form - can't paste?

Haven't seen that before. I know you can't use the copy/paste buttons in CKeditor in FF but using ctrl-c/x/v all work properly.

Can you post a link to the page?

Re: Contact Form - can't paste?

Just to update, we had the site editor set to TinyMCE. When I changed it to CKEditor, paste is working properly. So it looks like it's either a problem with TinyMCE, or the "minified" TinyMCE that's used on the contact form. General content editing via TinyMCE works fine for pasting.

Re: Contact Form - can't paste?

Hi Jamie,

The same thing is happening to me with the contact form on my site when I use TinyMCE, so I think it is an actual bug and not a config issue.

I tried pasting into TinyMCE on the HTML module and it worked fine so it appears to be an issue with the Contact Form or maybe the 'restricted' TinyMCE.

Thanks,
Joe D.

Re: Contact Form - can't paste?

I have the Telerik Editor Installed

On the Contact form I tried

TinyMCE = can't paste

Telerik = paste works good

Re: Contact Form - can't paste?

TinyMCE changed their paste plugin not long ago and it needed to be configured differently from code because of that. This is now fixed in our source code repository and will be fixed in the next release.

Thanks,

Joe
