RSS in blog not working - what am I doing wrong?

RSS in blog not working - what am I doing wrong?

Hi

I have a blog running with RSS feed activated. The small RSS symbol is showing well and all postings has feed activated. But when I click the RSS symbo I get to a page like this: "http://<mysiteurl>/blog<module#>rss.aspx" and it's a nearly blank page only showing this message: "Invalid Request".

What am I doing wrong? I guess this is just a stupid small thing missing, but I can find no directions to use.

This can happen if you moved the blog from one page to another. You should not move a blog.

If you look for that url in Administration > Advanced Tools > Url Manager, the real url probably has the wrong page id, it needs to have the page id of the page that the blog is on.

Sorry - that was a good possibility. But I have checked and found everything pointing to the right places.

I have checked the following:

- Blog module (241)

- Page id (179)

- Those values combine in the mp_PageModules table

- There are no redirects

- Parentpages are ok

- The frindly url points to pageid 179

- Also double checked some of the Guid numbers and found no inconsistencies

BUT if I create a new blog on a testpage, that one works with RSS. The trouble now is I can't change and delete the current blogs without loosing all links and indexes in Google.

Any suggestions to where the inconsistency is?

The real url that the friendly url points to must have both pageid and module id (&mid=)
