Live site database wont keep content

Hi, we have a website in a live environment on 4 webservers. In the etst environment we have the sites work fine, but when we made live just recently, when we try to create new pages on the live sites, the pages loose the content that is defined. I will add the content to the page and then when I view the page, the content has disappeared and gone when you view the content layout.

Any ideas?

Re: Live site database wont keep content

Hi,

mojoPortal is not really designed for a web farm or cluster unless it is a small cluster where all nodes share a common file system rather than duplicated file system on each node.

When content is edited the cache is cleared by touching a cache dependency file, but unless all nodes are using the same drive it may not clear the cache and thus it appears the content has not changed because you still see the cached copy.

Hope it helps,

Joe
