eCommerce - Offer & Discount

I have got so far and am stuck on something off putting...  I have found that an Offer MUST be created for an item to be displayed so I have done the following...

  1. created a Product @ $59.99
  2. created an Offer @ $59.99
  3. created a Discount @ 50% (w/Code)

I go back to the cart and purchase 2 products.

The Discount amount is automatically calculated

Q. How can I get the User to enter the Discount Code before the discount is actually calculated?

As different codes will have different values...!
