deleting unused skins -- causes error?

I'm having a really weird situation here, getting the error msg:

Welcome to mojoPortal Setup

Setup is disabled. To continue, please set DisableSetup to false in Web.config

Even though I've been working with the site with DisableSetup=true for some weeks now, and it's been working just fine.

The only thing that's changed today, was my deleting skins I'm not using.  At first I goofed up, and deleted them from data/skins, then realized that was wrong, so I reuploaded the ones I had deleted from data/skins -- then, deleted the ones I'm not using, from data/sites/1/skins -- and now it's giving me this peculiar error.  Did my deletion of those skins, from either place, cause this?  Because I've corresponded with my host to see if anything has changed on their end, and they seem a little bit perplexed -- as am I!

Mighty puzzled...

Re: deleting unused skins -- causes error?

Ok, whatever it was, it seems to be fixed now -- I didn't do anything, I've been sitting here puzzled and frustrated about the whole thing, but suddenly it works again.  Don't know if it was something my host changed then changed back, or what.

Go figure??

Re: deleting unused skins -- causes error?

Setup won't run if you have DisableSetup=true, unless you are logged in as a user with administrative priveleges. My guess is that maybe your site lost connection with the browser cookie that was keeping you logged in? That's happened to me before, and the solution then was either to log back in on the site before running setup, or to set DisableSetup=false, then run setup, then set DisableSetup back to true.
