Image Gallery Customization

I want to customizate the Image Gallery functionality according to the layout on the following website:

I have the following questions:

- The image gallery functionality is a custom mojoPortal development? or is a third party component?
- Which third party component I have to install?
- Which .aspx .ascx files I have to modify in order to attain my objective (border around the photo, description and set number of cols)?
