Joe, I am trying to make a few custom changes to the calendar. I know it's not recommended to do this for upgrades, but the use at this point is small and I am doing this so I can get into the under belly of this great framework and use it in further projects.

I basically want to add an additional field into calendar. I'm not a great C# person, so I am using this as a learning opportunity. I've added the columns into the table, added the parameter into two of the stored procedures, edited the code in DBEvents, EditEvent.aspx(new txtlabel), EditEvent.aspx.cs, and EventCalResources.

Everything builds ok and the field is presented on the UI. When I type something into the Title textbox and the new textbox, my new text in my new textbox is committed to the Title column in the mp_calendarevents table.
I am missing a change somewhere. I would appreciate any advice.
