You can monitor commits to the repository from this page. We also recommend developers to subscribe to email notifications in the developer forum as occasionally important things are announced.

The .NET 4.0 Transition Plan

I've just created a blog post about the Transition to .NET 4 and how to continue with 3.5 development once the main projects are changed to target .NET 4.
