File Manager upload not overwriting existing file

  • What operating system were you running when the bug appeared?
  • What database platform is your site using?
  • What version of mojoPortal are you running?
  • What version of .NET do you use?
  • What steps are necessary to reproduce the issue? Compare expected results vs actual results.

File Manager upload not overwriting existing file

In the File Manager, if you attempt to upload a new version of an existing file, the upload feature hangs. 

There's a workaround: rename or delete the old version and re-upload. However it seems to be a bug that you cannot overwrite an existing file, hence this post!

This behavior seems to be how it works with both versions of the file manager.

If this is intended behavior, it would still be a bug to me, since no user feedback is given, it simply hangs and fails to overwrite.
