How to export the english content for the localization

Hi Friends,

I am the newly member of Mojo Portal site and trying to learn it.

What i am doing,

1. Created a site (default) for english language.

2. Create a new site.

3. Now i want to do localization for this new site.

4. I was expecting that it will create the menu, pages for me (by automcatic copying contents from the english version of the site.)

Can any one tell me what is the locailization process here.

Do i need to create all the pages, menu for the new language site. Is there any automated process for it so that i can export english version site content for the new language.

Do i need to create all the things from begining.

Hi,

Sorry but we don't have any mechanism for creating site content based on an existing site nor any automation process to assist you in creating translated content. We do have support for multiple sites in a single installation and specifying the culture that will be used for each site for resource strings so that you can make additional sites in an installation for different languages.

Would be nice to have English resources either separate or with a prefix (en-US). Now they are difficult to "extract" (select and copy to separate folder for translation) since they don't have a prefix (I mean files in GlobalResources).
