dcarter-bluespring calendar weekend events are invisible

dcarter-bluespring calendar weekend events are invisible

When using the dcarter-bluespring Skin, the weekend events in the event calendar are white on white rendering them invisible. How can I override the color for these weekend events and keep the Skin as dcarter-bluespring?

Seems to only happen when the weekend event is the same day as the current day i.e Today
