I have customized the blog feature (2.3.3.4). For some reason, viewpost.aspx is in a infinite loop. I cannot find out why? An direction on where and what to look would be extremely helpful.

Sorry but I cannot provide support for your forked version of the blog. If you modify code you need to be understand it and be able to debug it yourself.
I recommend do not modify any mojoPortal code.
