This is a forum to suggest new features for mojoPortal.
Hi Joe, during my process of implementing MojoPortal, I think I may have come across a feature that is missing. As part of one of one of out portal installations for a school, we have content workflow enabled so that "Student Authors" can edit pages in draft form and submit the changes for approval from a "Teacher Editor" or "Teacher Content Creator". The process works perfectly well at present, as the edits are made in a staging area and the pages are then moved to the live area by the content publishers.
However, I would like to remove one step from the process, and allow students to create pages in-situ which are then authorised by a publisher. To that end, I would like to suggest a change in the security levels. Currently we have "Roles that can view...", "Roles that can edit...", "Roles that can edit... as draft" and "Roles that can create pages below this page". I'd would like to suggest "Roles that can create pages below this page in draft". This would allow users to create the pages they like in-situ and content publishers could simply approve or disapprove of pages as opposed to having to approve and then move from the staging area.
Does that make sense?

I like this idea. I've put it on my to do list but not sure how soon I will get to it given all the other things on the list.
Best,
Joe
