Is it might be possible / useful to implement some improvements for the LinksList in turn to add the reciprocal links cheking functionality?

As you know, the links exchange is one of the way for increase the site's PR. But we needs to check the reciprocal links exsistence at the links partner site from time to time and if the rempte reciprocal link been removed, we needs to deactivate our link to reciprocal URL.

This way the possible additional link properties could looks like:

1 - reciprocalURL(string); - The URL of the link to our site location;

2 - isLinkActive(boolean); - Is our link active or been deactivated because the remote reciprocal link been removed and offPeriod in days been exceeded;

3 - offDate(DateTime) - the Date when the reciprocal link to our site been removed from remote reciprocalURL;

4 - offPeriod(integer) - the period in days befor our link deactivation.

Also it will be needed to send some event ( "Check button" pressed? ) for the business logic method which will loop the links in the list and check each reciprocal URL for each active link in turn to find the active link to our site at the remote page plus some small additional logic required for our link deactivation.  The algorythm is seems to be clear.

Well, is the such additional functionality might be implemented / reasonable for the LinksList?
