Authentication request when selecting image

Authentication request when selecting image

Hey,

Im' having a little problem with some of my sites and don't know where to search, so I ask it here.
I'm running my sites on a Windows 2003 with mssql. And since couple of weeks, I get this authentication request when I select an image in the file browser. I can upload a file, but when I click on the file, I get this request. Delete after clicking is also no problem.
About security: network services and the IUSER has full control on the data folder, that is also why I can upload/delete these files.
I'm I the only one who gets this? Anyone an idea why I get this?

To be honest, I don't think it has something to do with mojoportal, but I got this since I have updated the sites to 2.3.3.2.
And i have updated my server with the latests update. If anyone has ...

You mean you are getting a popup window like basic authentication?

Maybe the directory security on the folder is mis configured in IIS even if file system permissions are ok.

On Win 2003 it is usually the IIS_WPG user that needs permissions.

I have tested that, and indeed, now it is working.
Strange this is: why did it work before and do I have this since couple of weeks.

Could be from Windows update making changes. I've occasionally seen weird behavior after windows updates. If it happens again I would look around in the event log for anything that may be related.
