Script errors on fresh install

When posting in this forum, please try to provide as many relevant details as possible. Particularly the following:

  • What operating system were you running when the bug appeared?
  • What database platform is your site using?
  • What version of mojoPortal are you running?
  • What version of .NET do you use?
  • What steps are necessary to reproduce the issue? Compare expected results vs actual results.

You may also want to review the installation or upgrading documentation.

Script errors on fresh install

I just downloaded the latest version of MojoPortal.
The database setup proceded without error, but when I go to lauch the site, the page nearly completes rendering, but has the following error:

Line: 214
Error: Object doesn't support this property or method

Debugger points to character 34 of line 214:
$('div.mojo-accordion').accordion()

IE version I am using is 8.0.7600.16385

page will finish rendering, but"with errors":
Message: Expected ')'
Line: 11
Char: 1
Code: 0
URI: http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jqueryui/1.7.2/jquery-ui.min.js

 

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi Gary,

I cannot replicate the problem. Note the error you posted is pointing to a jquery file loaded from the google CDN. If the machine you are working on is not connected to the internet then it will not be able to load the scripts. If you are working disconnected frequently you may want to host the jquery files locally on your machine.
