  • What operating system were you running when the bug appeared?
  • What database platform is your site using?
  • What version of mojoPortal are you running?
  • What version of .NET do you use?
  • What steps are necessary to reproduce the issue? Compare expected results vs actual results.

Mojoportal is not installing using Web Platform Installer

Hi,

I just tested it and it worked fine for me.

I remember encountering this one time. I think if you previously had an older version of Platform installer installed you may need to uninstall Platform Installer, uninstall MSDeploy, then re-install the latest Platform Installer and use it to install the latest MsDeploy. It does not seem to be able to upgrade the MsDeploy correctly, it needs the uninstall/reinstall.

Hello Joe,

It is a complete new Windows 2003 server. I installed it from scrathc.
Will now wait for the new release and install it by copying the files.

By the way, I got the same error on two different servers, this new one and an old one.
