Could not find GoogleMapsAPIKey in Web.config

  • What version of mojoPortal are you running?
  • What version of .NET do you use?
  • What steps are necessary to reproduce the issue? Compare expected results vs actual results.

Could not find GoogleMapsAPIKey in Web.config

Hi Joe,

I add the google map feature to a page and see "Could not find GoogleMapsAPIKey in Web.config" message in the module  content. I search web.config and don't find any setting with this name. What is my mistake?

Hi Asad,

There is a setting for this in Web.config

<add key="GoogleMapsAPIKey" value="" />

However, you can also enter the api key in Site Settings, so I need to update that error message to say it could not find it in Site Settings or Web.config.
