Pulling data from XML source

Pulling data from XML source

I am attempting to pull data from an external data source via web service and display the formatted results within mojoPortal. I will need to pass a few basic parameters to the service, username, password etc and then apply an xslt to format the data. Is there a recommed way to do this?
