Magic Fields

Hi Joe,

We've just developed a strange problem that I am trying to track down. The issue results in a failure to update information on a Html Content pages. For some reason (probably something we've done), the Html Content pages now show "Begin Date", "End Date", "Title", "More Link:" and "Excerpt:" fields. If we put dates in the fields we can save, if not the page just appears to scroll to the top (with no data saved). If I use IE8 and compatibility mode, there is no problem. However, I don't know why the fields are there. Do you have any idea what has caused these fields to appear and how to get rid of them? We're on version 2.3.1.9 (with MySql).

Hi David,

There was a brief one day period when we had an error in our package, you must have downloaded during that time. Please download 2.3.1.9 again and redeploy it then visit /Setup/Default.aspx and it will solve this problem. Sorry for the inconvenience.
