Upgrading to 2.3.1.3 MSSQL

  • What operating system were you running when the bug appeared?
  • What database platform is your site using?
  • What version of mojoPortal are you running?
  • What version of .NET do you use?
  • What steps are necessary to reproduce the issue? Compare expected results vs actual results.

Upgrading to 2.3.1.3 MSSQL

Hi Joe,

Currently we using mojoportal version 2.3.0.1 MSSQL. We have created lots of pages on the 2.3.0.1 CMS, now we want to upgrade it to latest version. How can I transfer the database files? The newer database has diffrent table structure and CMS will not accept the older database. Or should we be creating new site and its pages from sratch in the latest mojoportal?

Hi, I'm a different Joe but maybe I can help.

mojoPortal upgrades are quite simple. All you should need to do is follow the instructions on the Upgrading from Previous Versions page.

You shouldn't need to manually modify the DB at all for an upgrade from 2.3.0.1 to 2.3.1.3. Be sure you make a backup of your current site files and database before doing anything.
