how to run .vbproj in monodevelop2.0

how to run .vbproj in monodevelop2.0

hi,

    I want to migrate vb.net project onto the linux platform. I am using Monodevelop2.0 & open suse 11.1.

    can u tell me the exact procedure of 'How to migrate .vbproj in MonoDevelop." because there is no import option in monodevelop2.0, to import project. 

   One more question I have :- Does monodevelop2.0 support Oracle client Database Connectivity. b'coz I got option in monodevelop2.0 only for sql server, mysql & postgre sql. do we need to add another driver for oracle client. tell me the procedure how to make oracle client database connectivity in monodevelop2.0.

Hi,

Sorry but my understanding is tha VB is not supported in MonoDevelop. Some VB stuff can run on Mono if its pre-compiled but in general if you want to work on linux with monodevelop, you are better off switching to C# as the VB story on Mono is not so good.

I do not use Oracle so I do not know how well the oracle ADO.NET libraries work on mono.
