Feed Manager with relative url's

  • Windows 2003
  • MSSQL
  • mojoportal-2-2-9-6

I set up several blogs on a site, and was using the feed manager to display them. This bug only occurs though if I try to use relative urls for the feeds. It then causes the site to crash, and be unusable. The only way I was able to recover was to go into the feeds table in the database and remove the feeds from the table. Using the ~ to prefix the feeds url did not work either.

Hi,

Thanks for the bug report. I will investigate this today and put in handling to prevent that from crashing the site. The feed manager was not designed to work with relative urls and full urls should be entered, but we definitely don't want user error to crash the site.

fyi, I implemented better error handling and input validation in the feed manager today. I've just updated demo.mojoportal.com with the latest code if you want to checkout the validation.
