Its not the email address or lack thereof of the comment poster its complaining about. If the setting for sending you email notification of comments is enabled but you don't set a valid email address for it to send them to it may cause this error. Click the gears to get to module settings for your blog and check the "Author Email" setting and the "Notify Me When Someone Posts a Comment" setting.
