Hi everybody, I'm creating my first mojoportal with a custom skin. It includes four panels - alternate1, left, center and right - and a horizontal menue directly above the alternate panel. In the altenate panel there is a table with four td's on every page and every td includes an image. Only on one page, the table of the alternate panel includes a little flash movie in every td. Everything works perfect, only on the page with the movies the "children" of navigation menue appear behind the movie images when mouse goes over the parent.
I think in this case I have to work with z-index but I'm not sure where to put it in - somewhere in style of the .AspNet-Menu-Horizontal or in style of the alternate pane?
Thank you very much for help - I hope my English is not so bad to understand my problem.
Best regards
Olli
Flash can be a little weird with the z-index property. You need to make sure that your window mode is opaque. Optionally, you can use transparent but opaque renders faster. Also, make sure that the item you're trying to put a z-index on is using www.minu absolute or relative positioning.
You can see and example from a site I've done here...

If you go to the "view" link you should see the drop down hovering about the Flash animation. Hope this helps!
Sorry about the www.minu in there, I must have pasted and typed over it without looking. I hope this helps! (Wishes there were and edit funtion on these posts!)
There is an edit feature. Look for the pencil icon next to your post.
Best,
Joe
Well, I'm currently logged in with both IE8 and Firefox and I'm not seeing any sort of pencil icon... mayhaps there is something wrong with the forums or something on my end is goofy?
