I decided to forego the Logo section (Site Name etc) in favour of just using HTML Content for logo, banner picture, etc. because I had more control.  My problem is now that the 'auto'menu (sign in, register, etc.) is waaay to far above my HTML Content.  What must I edit to shrink the 'logo div' in height.
