Roles vs MyPage

Hi Joe.

I think there is a mistake with the information shown to the diferent roles, when other roles choose it on mypage. I mean:

When I type a section ("Infor Joe" for example), I can decide to show/not show that section to one role (show to Content Authors, for example). Then, only users registered as Content authors (or higher) can view that section. It's ok, but if "Infor Joe" is "available for MyPage" and I sign in as Authenticated User I can view and add "Infor Joe" in MyPage.

Did I do something wrong?

Yes, thats true. If you make it available for mypage you are making it available for everyone. Making it available for mypage puts it in the web part catalog, it has no role filtering, its a public catalog. Roles are used in the main content system pages. MyPage is a place to publish widgets for anyone.
