Once you have setup a forum, then when editing the forum, there is the option to delete the forum. When trying to delete the forum it never deletes. The only way to get it out of the forum list is to make it inactive.
I am using the PostgreSQL version from SVN and have not tested against the others.
I also tested on http://demo.mojoportal.com and got the same results. Sorry for making a mess in your demo forums, but it was the only way I could make sure it was not only in my configuration.
