Hey Joe,
As always, great work - you've gotten my nomination for the best open source CMS.
The survey module is a very intuitive way of building pages/questions, and it's worked perfectly for me for surveys requiring very short answers. However, now I'm needing to develop a survey that asks for user comments at the end. I tried using a simple textbox, and then resizing it with CSS, but it falls a bit short, because, even though I can make the textbox look like a textarea, I can't get the text to wrap. An example of this behavior can be seen here (Question 3 and on). Anyways, there may have been a good reason not to include memo fields in the survey, but I was wondering if you had any ideas/workarounds/planned inclusions in mojo...
Thanks, Shaun
I will take a look at this when I get a chance and see about adding an option for text area. It shouldn't be too difficult to add one.
Thanks for the nomination! Much appreciated.
Best,
Joe
Just coming across this issue myself - no textarea in Survey, but otherwise a nice simple tool. Is this coming?
Hi,
I have no plans to improve the Survey feature because that would only canabalize sales of Form Wizard Pro which is how I make my living. If you need a better survey, you could clone it and modify it yourself or support my work by purchasing Form Wizard Pro.
OK thanks Joe. We've been on the edge of purchasing Forms Wizard Pro a few times now, so I'll look at this again.
