Javascript error in IE 7.

Javascript error in IE 7.

Browser: IE 7

OS: Windows XP SP2

Description:

When browsing the public site, I keep getting a javascript error when clicking on a tab (For example, clicking on the "Blog" tab. You may have to enable client side debugging inorder to see the error.  Here is the javascript error:

 

A Runtime Error has occurred.  Do you wish to Debug?

Line 3:

Error: 'undefined' is null or not an object.

 

It's this statment that's having trouble: var dotIndex=urlPath.lastIndexOf(".")

 

urlPath is undefined.

Hi,

Thanks for letting me know as I had not noticed this.

It turns out to be some bug in the Microsoft Analytics (aka project gatineau) script. Thats pretty bad if their script has bugs in their own browser.

I've removed the script to eliminate the error. I'm mainly using google analytics anyway but was using MS Analytics on a trial basis to compare with google.
