Hi,

Content Staging was never a feature, it was only a page created by default on a new installation. The page was there just to illustrate how role permissions can be used to have a workflow where content is edited on private pages (not visible to the public) by content authors (role) and then published to publicly visible pages by Content Publishers role.

You can easily create a page named Content Staging, set the Roles that can view the page to Content Authors, Content Publishers. Set the roles that can edit this page to Content Authors. On public pages give Content Publisher role edit permission so he can move content from the private pages to the public pages.

I dropped out the creation of this page for new sites about 6 months ago or so and reduced it to only create the home page.
