WebParts X Portlet and WSRP Support

WebParts X Portlet and WSRP Support

Hi,

What you think about extend mojoPortal to support a Portlet´s based on pattern JRS168?

Hi,

I don't know much about that but from the little bit I have read it sounds like a standard in the java world. Since I don't know of anyone using that standard in the .NET world you'll have to convince me how it would benefit mojoPortal.

I could maybe see a benefit for supporting Web Parts like from Sharepoint because that is used in the .NET world but not sure if that is a proprietary thing or what licesning implications there would be.

I just read a little primer on WSRP, and it does look interesting.  It sounds like a set of standards for consuming and providing content as web services and I can see mojoPortal as both a consumer and supplier of content kind of like what we have with the rss feed aggregator but much more sophisticated than rss.

I will look into it further.
